Let’s cut to the chase, shall we? Only in California do you stop by your favorite restaurant for an early breakfast and wind up with this:
So what that it’s only 9 am on a Monday morning. That makes it noon on the East coast. And you’re allowed to start drinking at lunch, right?
I mean c’mon. This. Is. Brilliant. Seriously, you get all of your daily vitamins for like a year plus a splash of tequila in one fell swoop. There are no words to describe how much I love this drink. And since my new BFF Calin (the bartender) was so kind as to tell me how he made it, I’ll gladly share!
Kale Margarita
*works best in a super fancy juicer so it doesn’t come out like mine did (a smoothie) in my Wal-Mart blender.
- 1 bunch kale (chopped)
- 1 green apple
- 1 lemon
- 1 stalk celery
- squeeze lime
- splash simple syrup
- shot of tequila
- shot of triple sec
Directions
- Juice this puppy up.
- Put in glass.
- Drink.
- Repeat.
